I had the opportunity to sign books at The Next Chapter Books & Art shop in historic New Bern, N.C., near where we visit some good friends and vacationed for years. It’s a cute store that is owned by local author Michelle Garren-Flye and presided over by Derby the Cat. Don’t tell Flea Flicker.
